Beach Conservation Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Coastal Assessment and Clean-up Officer to join our team for an urgent environmental clean-up project. In response to the recent algal bloom in South Australia, we need your help to clean dead marine life from our beaches.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will undertake daily early morning inspections of designated beaches to assess the presence and extent of dead marine life. They will also carry out manual clean-up activities as instructed by the Field Supervisor and record and report findings using approved Government systems to facilitate timely clean-up responses.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be physically fit and able to perform lifting and repetitive tasks.
- Reliable transport to various locations.
- Valid Police Check.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work is to be carried out across six zones within Adelaide metropolitan to Southern regions, with working hours from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM. The location includes the South Australia Coastline - Adelaide Metro and Southern Regions (from Sellicks to Semaphore).
