We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diesel Fitter Leader to join our team at Field Mining Services Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of diesel fitters and ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of diesel fitters to ensure the efficient maintenance and repair of heavy equipment
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Relevant trade qualification in diesel fitting or a related field
  • Proven experience in leading a team of diesel fitters in a mining or heavy industry environment
  • Strong knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and repair principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
