Drive Business Growth as a Warehouse Manager

About the Role

This position is responsible for working with assigned customer lists to drive business growth and profit. The role involves interacting with technical and project personnel, as well as customers and suppliers.

  • Work with assigned customer list and foster positive relationships to drive growth and profit.
  • Interact with technical and project personnel internal to the organization as well as customers and suppliers.
  • Translate customer performance requirements into product recommendations or new product designs.
  • Optimize product design for ease of manufacturing by collaborating with manufacturing personnel.
  • Prepare and submit bills of materials (BOMs), technical documents, and descriptions to facilitate product recommendations and costing/price models.
  • Ensure compliance with the ISO Stage Gate system for project management and tracking.
  • Stay current with polymer systems, market films, processing and converting equipment, physical property testing techniques, and packaging equipment by interacting with raw material suppliers.
Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A solid understanding of resins used in flexible films packaging and the extrusion equipment used to create these film products.
  • The ability to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and translated into products that meet commercialization needs at a rapid pace.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects, including planning, timelines, weekly communication, and key project updates.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong planning/organizing skills.
  • The ability to effectively communicate/present findings to a wide variety of audiences.
  • The ability to work independently as needed.
  • Practical problem-solving skills and the ability to drive quick success.
  • An S. Degree in Chemical or Polymer Science/Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in product development, process engineering, or related areas.
  • Experience working with coextruded cast/blown film equipment and product development activities.
  • Willingsness to travel 20-40% of the time.
