
Inventory Optimization Specialist

Job Summary
Optimize inventory and stock levels to drive efficiency and savings. Ensure timely part deliveries, effectively communicate with branches, and strategically manage suppliers and subcontractors to minimize costs.
Deliver ongoing technical support, coaching, and mentoring to maintenance staff, promoting their growth and development in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels, identifying potential savings opportunities and implementing solutions to optimize stock.
- Communicate effectively with branches regarding part deliveries, ensuring seamless logistics and customer satisfaction.
- Strategically manage suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating favorable terms and minimizing costs associated with part warranties.
- Provide ongoing technical support, coaching, and mentoring to maintenance staff, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar position within the mining, construction, automotive, or manufacturing industries.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to organize and manage time and workload efficiently, meeting deadlines and delivering results.
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in daily tasks.
