About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gardening Supervisor to join our team at Green by Nature. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of horticultural activities and operations on our sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage multiple teams on various sites, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
  • Safe Work Practices: Assist in developing and implementing safe work practices, fostering a culture of safety within the team.
  • Performance Reviews: Participate in performance reviews to provide feedback and support the professional growth of team members.
  • WHS Compliance: Proactively raise any workplace health and safety (WHS) issues to the State Manager or WHS Advisor for timely resolution.
  • Toolbox Meetings: Actively participate in scheduled toolbox meetings to discuss safety updates, share insights, and address concerns.
  • WHS Inspections: Conduct regular WHS inspections to identify potential hazards and promptly report findings to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens
  • Valid White Card
  • Valid Working With Children Check
  • Valid Drivers' License
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong commitment to safe work practices
  • Good communication skills and computer literacy
  • Motivated self-starter with a great attitude
