About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Gardening Supervisor to join our team at Green by Nature. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of horticultural activities and operations relating to teams on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the team's on-site activities to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Assist in developing and implementing safe work practices, fostering a culture of safety within the team.
  • Participate in performance reviews to provide feedback and support the professional growth of team members.
  • Proactively raise any workplace health and safety (WHS) issues to the State Manager or WHS Advisor for timely resolution.
  • Actively participate in scheduled toolbox meetings to discuss safety updates, share insights, and address concerns.
  • Conduct regular WHS inspections to identify potential hazards and promptly report findings to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens.
  • Valid White Card.
  • Valid Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • Valid Drivers' license.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with demonstrated ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Strong commitment to safe work practices.
  • Good communication skills and computer literacy.
  • Motivated self-starter, with a great attitude.
