Accounting Team Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Team Manager to lead our team of accountants in providing exceptional service to our clients.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience managing a team of accountants, with a strong background in accounting and tax services. They will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality accounting and tax services to our clients, as well as leading and developing a team of junior and senior accountants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of SME clients, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of accounting and tax services
  • Lead and develop a team of junior and senior accountants to achieve high client satisfaction
  • Liaise with the ATO on behalf of clients, including BAS preparation and submission, tax return preparation and submission, and provision of supervision and control for remote bookkeeping clients
  • Advising and engaging with clients on various accounting and taxation matters
  • Recruit, train, nurture, and grow a team of like-minded accountants

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years experience managing a team of accountants
  • Strong background in accounting and tax services
  • Excellent command of client communication and delivery organization
  • Proven track record of embodying attributes such as ownership, humility, structured thinking, data-driven decision making, tech-savviness, problem-solving, and teamwork
