This role plays a key part in managing leasing transactions across the national retail network. The Leasing Manager is responsible for securing optimal commercial outcomes across lease renewals, negotiations, store conversions, and network development activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate and execute lease renewals, conversions, and new agreements to drive leasing performance through data-led insights, strategic negotiation, and efficient lease management.
- Model financial feasibility and prepare lease approval documentation to support location strategy by identifying risks and opportunities in lease tenure.
- Develop reports, board papers, and presentation materials to deliver rental savings through strong commercial negotiation and proactive management of critical timelines and stakeholder alignment.
Requirements
- Experience in retail or commercial leasing, property or network development with strong commercial and financial acumen, including feasibility modelling.
- Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills with well-developed organisational and planning skills.
- Able to work independently and proactively manage leasing cycles with knowledge of legal frameworks relating to property leasing desirable.
