Christian Cleaning Role

We are seeking a dedicated Christian cleaner to join our team and contribute to the maintenance of our school premises.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for performing detailed cleaning tasks, including classrooms, staff rooms, offices, and toilet facilities.
  • They will also replenish consumables as required, collect and dispose of waste, and ensure compliance with school health and safety policies.

This part-time role involves working 3 hours per day, 30 hours per fortnight, and is expected to start as soon as possible.

As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will have a strong commitment to their Christian faith and live consistently with biblical values.

To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a valid Working With Children Check for Victoria and possess experience in similar cleaning roles. Good communication and time management skills are also essential.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Provide a safe and respectful environment for students and staff;
  • Participate in child safety induction and training provided by the school and adhere to our child safety and wellbeing policies and procedures;
  • Act in accordance with our Child Safety Code of Conduct;
  • Identify and report any concerns about child safety issues in accordance with our Responding and Reporting Obligations Policy and Procedures;
  • Ensure students' views are taken seriously and their voices are heard about decisions that affect their lives;
  • Model and promote the vision and values of the school;
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings as required.
