Job Details

A cleaner is needed to maintain a clean and safe environment at a school. The successful applicant will work in a dedicated team to ensure all learning spaces are tidy and well-maintained.


The job involves a range of tasks including cleaning floors, dusting surfaces, and removing rubbish. The cleaner will also be responsible for disinfecting toilets and drinking troughs, as well as maintaining carpets and hard-floor surfaces.


In addition to these duties, the cleaner may be required to perform vacation cleaning tasks such as removing cobwebs, stripping and sealing vinyl floors, cleaning windows, shampooing carpets and pressure cleaning verandas and undercover areas.


To be considered for this role, applicants must have excellent cleaning skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. They should also be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.


Requirements
  • Cleaning experience: Applicants must have prior experience in cleaning roles, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Physical fitness: The successful applicant must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
  • Teamwork: A strong ability to work within a team environment is essential for this role.
