Cleaner Manager

The role of Cleaner Supervisor is to oversee the cleaning operations at Alinjarra Primary School.
Key Responsibilities:- To induct, train, and manage a team of cleaners including relief staff, ensuring they are aware of their duties and responsibilities;
- To monitor and maintain stock supplies within allocated budgets, taking into account quality and value for money;
- To conduct regular stocktake of cleaning equipment, identifying areas for improvement and recommending purchases;
- To undertake cleaning tasks across internal and external areas, adhering to health and safety protocols;
- To be responsible for opening and closing the school, setting the security alarm system and ensuring it is functioning correctly;
- To conduct a daily handover with corporate services staff, exchanging information and updates on cleaning operations and any relevant issues.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure;
- Able to work effectively as part of a team, maintaining open lines of communication and contributing positively to a collaborative environment;
- Organised and reliable individual who can work independently while also being part of a larger team effort;
- Excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning practices, methods, and procedures, keeping up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
