Job Title: Accounts Payable/Receivable Officer - Six Month Fixed-Term Contract

\

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Accounts Payable/Receivable Officer to join our team on a six-month fixed-term contract.

Main Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Managing the day-to-day activities of accounts payable and receivable, including disbursement, archiving, file maintenance, and administration.\
  • Preparing monthly reconciliations for disbursement suppliers.\
  • Sourcing and entering disbursement invoices into accounting software.\
  • Checking, verifying, and reconciling information in accounting software.\
  • Entering and processing approved disbursement payments (EFT, credit card, and cheques).\
  • Managing archive and retrieval of matters with providers.\
  • Distributing retrieved files to staff.\
  • Reconciling ledgers prior to closure of files.\
  • Maintaining active file listings.\
  • Closing settled files.\
  • Liaising with solicitors and following up on outstanding debtors.\
  • Receipting and processing daily debtor funds received.\
  • Preparing and processing monthly billings, invoices, and bank deposits.\
  • Initiating daily office/trust payments.\
  • Audit and compliance-related tasks as required.\
