Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced leader to oversee our engineering function. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and build business-facing applications powered by world-class data science.

This position is ideal for individuals who want to maximize their skills and make a real impact through technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead an engineering team to ensure high-quality, secure software delivery in an Agile environment.
  • Manage multiple squads and oversee cross-cutting initiatives across engineering.
  • Assess hiring needs, develop hiring strategies, and onboard new team members.
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate closely with product, commercial, UX, and client teams.
  • Maintain a hands-on role in code development, coding up to 40% for mature teams or 20% for new teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant subject.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Experience with microservices architecture, REST APIs, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud providers (GCP, Azure, AWS).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Octopus, GitLab, Argo.
  • C# .NET Core and React frontend development skills.
