Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Customer Engineer to join our team in Benalla, Victoria.

This permanent position will see you playing a pivotal role in leading engineered-to-order projects that support the production of Transformers, Kiosks, and Switchgear.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage diverse engineered to order projects in support of our Benalla manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and related business objectives.
  • Deliver customer solutions as you balance quality, cost, and adhere to other internal processes across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Collaborate with varied cross-functional teams and other related stakeholder groups to ensure project success, including Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and various leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and other environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to local manufacturing innovation, supporting our commitment to regional economic development, sustainability, customer partnerships, and strategic relationships.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications - ideally Electrical and Project Management.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a similar manufacturing/production environment.
  • Strong proven project management capabilities, leveraging a diverse technical or project management background to achieve customer-focused outcomes.
  • Previous experience in the use of SAP and other related digital tools.
  • Proven ability to partner with varied stakeholder groups and collaborate to achieve outcomes.
  • Those with knowledge of or experience in related technical assets (Electrical, Transformers etc.) will be viewed favourably.
