Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pathology Laboratory Support Specialist to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general laboratory duties, including receiving specimens and registering requests into the laboratory information system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and handle specimens according to established procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of specimen receipt, processing, and results.
  • Prioritize tasks to meet service delivery deadlines and ensure seamless laboratory operations.
  • Respond to client enquiries and instructions in a professional and courteous manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in interpretation of request forms, data entry, and specimen processing procedures.
  • High level interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Proven ability to follow instructions and work accurately with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in performing laboratory tests, including processing and setting up techniques within the department.
