We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a senior-level engineer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable features with Laravel, PHP, and AWS.

Job Description

Our ideal candidate is a strong problem solver with excellent systems thinking skills, who can transition between front-end and back-end development seamlessly. You will work closely with our QA, Product, and Design teams to create customer-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver scalable features with Laravel, PHP, and AWS
  • Build APIs and reusable components in a multi-region SaaS environment
  • Collaborate with QA, Product, and Design for customer-focused solutions
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines, testing, and system performance
  • Contribute to evolving our architecture (modular monolith and beyond)
  • Champion compliance (ISO 27001, SOC 2), accessibility, and localisation
  • Mentor and set a high bar for quality and documentation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of experience building SaaS products end-to-end, ideally across multiple regions
  • Strength in Laravel (or modern PHP frameworks) plus Vue (or similar framework)
  • Experience with ISO/SOC2 standards and secure engineering practices
  • Knowledge of modular architectures, event-driven systems
  • Skilled in relational databases (Aurora MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Cloud-native experience (AWS, CI/CD, observability)
