Technical Expertise

Champion Data is seeking a highly skilled technical professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in full stack software engineering, with experience in designing and maintaining real-time ML pipelines on cloud infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and deploying scalable and reliable systems on Google Cloud Platform using containers, Kubernetes, Pub/Sub, and serverless services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining real-time, cloud-based ML pipelines for optical tracking
  • Building and managing cloud infrastructure to support high-throughput video and 3rd party tracking data ingestion, model inference, and event streaming
  • Contributing to the training and tuning of ML models for live and autonomous sports data capture

Requirements for this role include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years experience in full stack software engineering, with strong cloud (GCP mandatory) and machine learning system deployment exposure
  • Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining real-time ML pipelines on cloud infrastructure
