Software Engineering Manager

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Manager/Integration Manager to assist on multiple development opportunities in the space domain. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership and coordinate software architectures for cloud-based and on-premises development solutions.

  • Provide technical leadership to the Space team and internal/external stakeholders in software integration, cloud platforms, and DevOps.
  • Manage and maintain the Space Domain cloud platform, ensuring design and implementation align with risk evaluations and policy guidelines.
  • Discuss and agree upon scope, design, and implementation for software integration and deployment of Space Domains projects.
  • Maintain technical documentation for the Space Domain software integration process and cloud platform.
  • Lead the deployment of Space Domain software in support of trials and demonstrations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the integration of Space Domain software with third-party software.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in software component integration, cloud service management, and DevOps processes. A tertiary qualification in systems engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline is also required.

Defence security clearance is mandatory for this role, and applicants must be Australian citizens eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance.
