Cloud Software Developer Position

This is a rare opportunity to contribute to a groundbreaking developer experience tool. The team is working on rethinking traditional workflows, preserving the best aspects of Linux while enhancing performance in immutable distro environments and remote cloud settings.

The ultimate goal is to liberate developers from tedious environment setup across various industries such as Robotics, MLOps, IoT.

Candidates should be passionate about designing user experiences, crafting high-quality code, and ensuring correctness for diverse use cases.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing user interfaces for new capabilities in the tool
  • Writing clean, efficient code to create innovative features
  • Ensuring robustness and reliability of work for varied applications
  • Elevating software quality by addressing well-defined problems
  • Strategizing implementation to prioritize performance, quality, and security
  • Collaborating with internal and external teams

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Professional experience in software development using Go, Python, C, or C++
  • In-depth knowledge of Linux system-level fundamentals, e.g., cgroups, namespaces
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Additional valuable skills include:

  • Experience with LXC/LXD
  • Knowledge of AI/ML and/or CUDA/OpenVINO
  • System and language package managers internals expertise
