**Job Title:** Senior Systems Engineer

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of public cloud infrastructure on Azure.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing level 3 systems support for IT public cloud services to customers.
  • Building, deploying, and maintaining Azure infrastructure.
  • Preparing and reviewing technical change requests.
  • Developing and maintaining operational documentation and diagrams.
  • Preparing and providing leadership in automation, scripting, infrastructure as code, and DevOps.
  • Providing guidance and escalation support across the team as required.
  • Responsible for customer engagements including regular reviews, general communications, and workshops.
  • Input to and review project designs, migration plans, and test plans.
  • Staying current with vendor supplied and other best practice cloud solution architectures.
  • Participation in the after-hours on-call rotating roster.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in a similar senior server or cloud support role, with high-level competency in Azure infrastructure management.

We are looking for someone with strong competency in SAML and OAUTH, Microsoft Partner technologies including GDAP and Lighthouse, infrastructure management, exceptional troubleshooting skills, analytical research, and problem-solving.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have competency in GitOps and general DevOps processes, good capabilities in scripting, automation, and infrastructure as code, and understanding of the ITIL framework.
