Guest Service Representative

Located in the heart of Hobart, DoubleTree by Hilton Hobart is a modern hotel that offers a unique blend of comfort, style, and hospitality. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to providing exceptional service to our guests.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join our team. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience for our guests, from check-in to check-out. You will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for ensuring that their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure that all guests receive a warm and welcoming experience, including a warm DoubleTree cookie upon arrival.
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs, handling cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with room assignments, key card distribution, and other front office duties as required.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that our guests receive a seamless and enjoyable experience.
- Previous experience in a customer-focused industry, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in hotel property management systems.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
