Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, services, and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and evaluating suppliers to ensure strong vendor relationships and cost-effective agreements.
  • Overseeing the procurement of materials, services, and equipment, aligning with project delivery timelines.
  • Establishing purchasing policies, performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with procurement standards.
  • Collaborating with construction, planning, and cost control teams to synchronise procurement activities with project milestones.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date Procurement Register and providing real-time reporting to track progress.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • A strong understanding of procurement systems and processes.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, with the ability to build and manage effective stakeholder relationships.
  • The ability to develop and execute cost-saving strategies and process improvements.
  • Experience in construction procurement is highly regarded.
  • Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Knowledge of relevant procurement software and tools is an advantage.
