Cloud Migration Expert - Oracle to AWS 

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned cloud migration expert to join our team. As a key member of our consulting team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for migrating Oracle databases (12c and later) and other applications (WebLogic based). Your expertise in database design, installation, configuration, and operation will be crucial in ensuring seamless migrations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful workload migrations. In addition to technical expertise, you will also play a key role in mentoring and growing other team members through sharing your skills and knowledge.

To succeed in this role, you must have extensive experience with Oracle 12c and 19c databases as a DBA. Strong consulting and customer-facing skills are also essential. Ideal candidates will have experience working within a cloud team, specifically with AWS.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) skills are beneficial but not required. A true passion and high energy personality are essential traits for this role.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience with Oracle 12c and 19c databases as a DBA
  • Strong consulting and customer-facing skills
  • Experience working within a cloud team, specifically with AWS
  • Ideally, experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC)
