Job Title:

A Cloud Engineer is needed to help migrate Oracle databases and other applications to the AWS platform.

The Role

As a Senior member of our consulting team, you will design and implement AWS-based solutions for migration of Oracle databases and other applications. You will collaborate with teams to support and deliver successful workload migrations.

Identify opportunities for improvements to migrated workloads, including architectural, security, resilience, performance, and cost.

As a Senior member, mentor and grow other team members through sharing skills and knowledge.

Requirements:
  1. Extensive experience with Oracle databases as a DBA, including design, installation, configuration, operation, backups, restoring, migrating, monitoring, and tuning in on-premises and AWS environments.
  2. Strong Consulting skills and customer-facing skill set.
  3. Ideal experience working within a Cloud Team (specifically AWS).
  4. Skills with Infrastructure as Code (eg Terraform, CloudFormation) and Configuration as Code (eg Ansible, Puppet, Chef) would be beneficial.
  5. A true passion and high energy personality.
