We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operational Leader to join our team.

Job Description

The AFP is creating a merit pool to fill vacancies at the Commander level now and into the future.

You will be responsible for aligning organisational capability and capacity to ensure operational outcomes are maximised through harnessing technology and specialist resources.

Key responsibilities:

  • Contribute to senior leadership group to develop strategies that align organisational capability and capacity to AFP Strategic priorities.
  • Ddeliver operational results aligned to organisational priorities, balancing resources to foster flexibility.
  • Champion and lead innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Develop productive working relationships with external stakeholders to influence strategic law enforcement drivers and frameworks.
  • Drive leadership succession, performance, and development strategies.
