Located in the heart of Canberra, Mantra on Northbourne is a hotel that offers apartment style accommodation featuring rooms and apartments. Centrally located, it's a short stroll from the city's dining and shopping precinct, business centre and famous attractions.

As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will have a vital role to play in ensuring the high standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supervising the housekeeping team to ensure productivity and efficiency.
  • Driving motivation and development of all Housekeeping Team Members.
  • Providing thorough training to the Housekeeping Team.
  • Ensuring high cleanliness and productivity standards are met.
  • Organising and allocating rooms for the rostered team members on shift.
  • Monitoring labour costs and productivity output according to occupancy levels.

Key requirements include:

  • Exceptional attention to detail with previous Housekeeping leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
  • A quick thinker who can think on the spot.
  • Excellent grooming and presentation skills.
