Process Development Specialist Job Description

The primary role of a Process Development Specialist is to design, develop, and test grinding applications processes. This ensures the delivery of high-quality products through comprehensive testing and validation.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement innovative grinding applications processes to meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve process improvements and enhance product delivery.
  • Apply technical expertise in process design and grinding applications to support customers effectively.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and safety within the engineering team.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong background in process design, including engineering physics and material technology.
  • Experience with machine kinematics, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Proficiency in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and part programming.
  • Familiarity with GD&T and drafting to ASME Y14.5-2009 standards.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to analyze data for informed decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
