About the role:
Job DescriptionThe team act for some of Australia's most well-known brands, making this an excellent opportunity for a Lawyer looking to build on their skillset with complex and interesting deals.
You will have direct access to Partners and senior Lawyers, and the benefit of strong secretarial support.
- Managing conveyancing and property settlements across Victoria through the PEXA platform
- Preparing, negotiating and reviewing commercial leases, agreements for lease, licences and related documents
- Drafting and reviewing contracts of sale and related documents (including caveats and s27 statements) for residential and commercial properties
- Lodging plans through the SPEAR platform
- Conducting legal research and advising on a broad range of property related matters
- Assisting with financial settlements across Victoria
- Assisting with due diligence for property and commercial transactions
About you:
- To be successful in this role, you will be an admitted Lawyer with at least 2 years' post-admission experience in property law.
- Your commitment to providing exceptional client service will be of great importance.
- To compliment your strong legal skills, you will be someone who has excellent verbal and written communication skills, a commercial mindset, and works well both in a team and autonomously.
- You will be someone who enjoys problem solving, demonstrates sound judgement, and has strong file management and organisational skills.
