Clinical Director

The Regional Head Nurse will be a senior clinical leader responsible for overseeing the implementation of strategic planning initiatives related to clinical training, education, and recruitment across the Perth GP network.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide mentorship and coaching to peer group leaders to enhance patient care, clinical standards, and business performance.
- Offer guidance and support to nurses in need of assistance with clinical standards.
- Influence positive clinical outcomes aligned with strategic initiatives relating to nurse clinical care.
- Develop and implement a training plan to address skills gaps within clinic teams.
- Deliver training sessions at Team Leader Meetings and Nurse training seminars.
- Oversee student placements and internships for the region.
- Assist with interviewing and induction processes for Head Nurse positions and provide support with other recruitment opportunities.
- Collaborate with industry stakeholders to create opportunities and strengthen the pipeline.
The successful candidate will possess a Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing or above, demonstrate high-level knowledge and skill in professional veterinary nursing principles, practices, concepts, and procedures. They will have worked in a companion animal setting for a minimum of 3 years, with a strong surgical background and a proven commitment to continuing education and training.
