Job Title: Research Analyst for Real Estate and Infrastructure

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Research Analyst to join our team, focusing on publicly traded real estate and infrastructure securities. The successful candidate will be an experienced professional with strong critical thinking skills, investor mindset, and growth mentality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial documents and conduct industry research to develop independent views on absolute and relative valuation using quantitative and qualitative metrics.

  • Collect market information and derive business forecasts to determine upcoming trends and industry changes.

  • Presents security and sector recommendations to portfolio management teams through presentations and investment reports.

  • Attend industry conferences, meet with company management, and analyze changes in supply and demand patterns.

  • Work closely with global team members to share ideas and best practices.

  • Stay current on regional political and economic news and data to serve as an expert for the team.

  • Presents view to clients and prospective clients.

  • Collaborate with Nuveen's global client group to grow the business.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CFA designation, or advanced degree preferred.

  • Strong experience in Real Assets research and financial statement analysis, including relative valuation framework.

  • Strong knowledge of listed Real Estate and Infrastructure analysis and investing in Australia and New Zealand; investment experience across the broader APAC region beneficial.

  • Sound quantitative, analytical, critical thinking, and financial modeling abilities.

  • Knowledge and systems ability with Excel and Bloomberg.

  • Sound communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Resourceful and entrepreneurial attitude with ability to work independently as part of a global Research team.

  • Able to thrive in a global platform across multiple time-zones and geographies.
