High Voltage Electrical Operator - FIFO Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced High Voltage (HV) electrical operator to join our team in a FIFO role. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing HV switching operations, developing switching plans, and maintaining detailed records of switching events.

  • Job Description:
  • Perform HV switching operations on site as per approved switching sheets and network operator requirements.
  • Develop and review HV switching plans, isolation strategies, and associated documentation.
  • Maintain detailed records of switching events, isolations, and energisation milestones.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A current HV Switching Ticket (Australian recognised).
  • An NSW A Grade Electrical Licence.
  • Construction White Card.
  • LVR/CPR certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a High Voltage Operator (HVO).
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing and executing HV switching programs and isolations.
  • Sound knowledge of Australian Electrical Standards, HV safety protocols, and network authority requirements.
