Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Centre Technician to join our Adelaide facilities team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical maintenance and customer service to ensure the smooth operation of our data centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality technical support to customers and internal stakeholders
- Assess and mitigate risks related to OH&S, security, and facility technical operations
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of critical support systems
- Assist with customer deliveries and equipment assembly
- Mentor and support junior team members to drive continual improvement and professional development
- Monitor critical systems and diagnose issues to ensure optimal performance
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role in a colocation facility or data centre
- Experience with test equipment, OTDR, and fibre optic installations
- Knowledge of Building Management Systems and critical systems
