Job Description

Our organization seeks a seasoned Maintenance Manager to lead our Manufacturing Reliability team at our Berkeley Vale site. The primary goal is to oversee maintenance coordination and activities, meeting expectations on line servicing and managing service protocols.

  • Supervise daily work, schedules, and CMMS systems.
  • Provide regular communication and high-level customer support to the Leadership Production team.
  • Offer technical assistance by training and troubleshooting for maintenance and manufacturing employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise maintenance team members.
  • Communicate with production and operations departments for maintenance and repair coordination.
  • Oversee asset care and prioritize issues.
  • Develop relationships with customers and stakeholders through quality customer service.
  • Assist in planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions.
  • Conduct employee performance reviews and coach employees for competency growth.
  • Maintain operating manuals for the maintenance department.
  • Ensure efficient and cost-effective maintenance services.
  • Train, equip, and motivate maintenance technicians for timely and safe completion of tasks.
  • Monitor plant equipment and systems operation.
  • Minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate problems, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Relevant trade or engineering qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years' industry experience in food or beverage manufacturing.
  • Leadership and coaching training.
  • Experience delivering objectives within financial constraints.
  • Demonstrated conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills in multidisciplinary environments.
