Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Strategic Risk Manager to join our team in Australia. As a key member of our Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Management team, you'll play a critical role in supporting our risk transformation program and contributing to the development of our NFR Framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Mortgages Origination Transformation project by delivering 2LOD risk deliverables, particularly for change initiatives requiring 2LOD NFR review, challenge, and opinion/endorsement.
  • Collaborate with the Information Risk Management Lead, ORM Lead, and Head of NFR to develop, embed, and manage non-financial risk management frameworks across the business, including training and knowledge sharing on various risk topics.
  • Contribute to operational risk reporting, including the business unit's Non-financial Risk profile, emerging risks, and effectiveness of the Non-Financial Risk Management Framework.
  • Lead and own key deliverables within programs related to NFR Framework design and implementation.
  • Provide strategic design and implementation advice on adjacent risk transformation deliverables that impact the NFR Framework.
  • Assist the Head of NFR in developing, embedding, and managing NFR management and its associated frameworks across the business.
Requirements
  • Excellent understanding of NFR frameworks and components such as Risk Assessments, Issues, Controls, Assurance, Product Approvals, etc.
  • 10+ years' experience in Risk (NFR including Compliance) in 1st or 2nd line of defence, preferably in Financial Services.
  • Previous experience in risk transformation programs and/or designing, developing, and improving NFR Frameworks.
  • Exceptional understanding of delivery frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, adaptable to diverse audiences.
Compensation Package

The estimated salary range for this position is AUD $180,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on experience.
