We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Uniting, providing care and companionship to older people living in their own homes in the Lithgow area.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
- Assist clients with household tasks, such as housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
- Transport clients to appointments and social events, using your own car.
- Engage clients in social and wellbeing activities, such as outings and Healthy Living for Seniors programs.
- Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
- Experience providing client-centred care, preferably in a home care setting.
- Current First Aid certificate.
- Driver's licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
- Hands-on training and development opportunities in a leading provider of aged care services.
- A supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and respect.
