Job Opportunities:

We are currently looking for multiple Personal Care Assistants to enhance our dedicated team.

These roles are available on a full-time basis, with part-time options considered for those who prefer a reduced schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidates will become integral members of our compassionate care team, providing essential personal care and support to our residents under the supervision of senior clinical staff.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting residents with daily living activities and lifestyle choices in line with their individual care plans.
  • Performing care tasks as assigned by the Registered or Enrolled Nurse.
  • Helping with meal service and refreshments.
  • Documenting observations and maintaining accurate records of residents' progress.

Ideal Candidates Will Possess:

  • A relevant qualification or a willingness to receive on-the-job training.
  • A genuine passion for working in the aged care sector.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with a diverse range of individuals.
  • The ability to manage a varied and demanding workload effectively.
  • Teamwork skills and a collaborative spirit.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check, with assistance provided for certification.

Compliance:

All candidates must meet the legislative requirements for Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure their suitability for roles within the aged care industry.

The hourly pay rate ranges from $28.67 for unqualified candidates to $30.11 for those with a Certificate III, plus applicable penalty rates and shift allowances.
