Accounting Professional Wanted

The role involves delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services to small business clients across Australia. The Accounting and Advisory Group is seeking an experienced and organised Accountant to join their Melbourne CBD based team.

  • The ideal candidate will have tertiary accounting qualifications, professional membership (CAANZ, CPA, IPA), and good knowledge in small business accounting and tax, preferably with companies and trusts, in a public practice environment.
  • They will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong knowledge of accounting principles and the Australian tax system, and a willingness to learn new skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accounting and taxation services to small business clients across Australia
  • Work closely with clients, specialist teams, and client account managers to deliver high-quality services
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met
  • Collaborate with bookkeepers, other accountants, and support staff to achieve business goals
Requirements:
  • Tertiary accounting qualifications, professional membership (CAANZ, CPA, IPA)
  • Good knowledge in small business accounting and tax, preferably with companies and trusts, in a public practice environment
