Job Title

A Financial Operations Manager is needed to oversee accounting operations, manage relationships with external auditors and tax consultants, and drive process improvements.

This role will be pivotal in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and the development of process improvements.

  • Lead timely and accurate financial reporting, including month-end, year-end, budget, and forecast submissions.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and tax consultants; oversee audits and tax compliance for Australia and New Zealand.
  • Oversee accounting operations, cash flow management, and statutory obligations.
  • Partner with senior management and operational leaders to deliver financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and best practice accounting compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • CA/CPA qualified with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • 7+ years' experience in a mid-to-large corporate environment (retail, travel, tourism, or services industry highly regarded).
  • Strong technical expertise in audit, financial reporting, and taxation.
  • Proven experience in managing audits, financial statements, and budgeting processes.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
