Job Overview

The MAT Lead-AUS role is a pivotal position within the Monster Energy team, focusing on generating trial of our premium energy drink products among consumers and driving sales efforts through strategic event sampling. This talented individual will also be responsible for lead generation for the Sales Division, developing and strengthening key account relationships, expanding market knowledge, and cultivating centers of influence networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Training: Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training a high-performing Monster Ambassadors team. Provide consistent direction, coaching, and communication to maintain brand accuracy in the Monster brand experiences and sampling, ensuring ambassadors are well-prepared for superior customer interactions and flawless event executions.
  • Operations and Equipment Supervision: Oversee local market operations and equipment, maintaining company assets (storage facilities, inventory, vehicles, and equipment) with precision.
  • Strategic Direction Execution: Execute strategic directions and manage goals for assigned regions/markets. Build strong vendor and venue relationships, generating sales opportunity leads that drive business growth.
  • Market Knowledge Expansion: Continuously increase market knowledge and identify groups and organizations with targeted demographics for partnerships.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain effective inventory control for sales and promotional events, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Event Planning: Plan and manage all aspects of the event planning process: pre-event, during, and post-event duties including personnel, product delivery/distribution, transportation, supplies, contracts, insurance, and permits. Participate actively in regional events with ambassadors.
  • Event Scheduling: Create event schedules for local markets, assigning team members appropriately.
  • Market Success Feedback: Provide valuable market success feedback and adhere to deadlines for administrative tasks, including reporting and recapping data for the region.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Preferably a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a similar field of study.
  • Professional Experience: Between 1-3 years of experience in Marketing, Sales, or Promotional roles.
  • Event Planning Expertise: Minimum 1 year of experience in event planning and managing resources.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, and an attractive benefits package, reflecting Monster Energy's commitment to its employees' growth and well-being.
