Aboriginal Principal Advisor Job Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a professional to join our organization as an Aboriginal Principal Advisor.

About the Role

This role sits within a division responsible for providing expert advice on service design and customer engagement. The team's objective is to ensure that new programs are designed in an inclusive and culturally sensitive way for Aboriginal customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic advice on initiatives aimed at improving outcomes and services for Aboriginal customers
  • Advise on stakeholder engagement with Aboriginal communities for business initiatives
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve cultural awareness and understanding within the organization
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address improvement opportunities for Aboriginal customers
  • Lead the development of policies and procedures to support Aboriginal customer engagement
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform decisions on Aboriginal customer engagement initiatives
Requirements
  • Identify as a person of Aboriginal descent, including submission of supporting documentation for family's Aboriginal descent and acceptance by their local Aboriginal community
  • Have a strong understanding of service design principles and their application in Aboriginal customer cohorts
  • Experience working with Aboriginal communities and developing effective engagement strategies
