This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading technology procurement service organisation as a Senior Account Manager. With a strong reputation built over 15 years, the company has established itself as a trusted technology partner to top-tier agencies and departments. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for nurturing and growing key accounts, delivering exceptional service, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Account Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to deliver a high level of service
- Delivering on service level arrangements to ensure a positive customer experience and repeat business
- Identifying project needs and facilitating the delivery of services through the project lifecycle
- Effectively networking to identify new business opportunities within existing accounts
- Qualifying, quoting, and closing new sales opportunities
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- Previous account management and client relationship experience
- Demonstrated experience in reigniting and expanding existing accounts
- An understanding of government projects and strong stakeholder management skills
- A natural interest and curiosity in technology
- Problem-solving abilities with strong interpersonal skills
- A high attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication
- Experience in servicing a client portfolio of Government and Defence customers is highly regarded
- An understanding of products available from major IT brands will be an advantage
- The ability to commit to monthly interstate travel
