Job Title: Rope Access Supervisor

EnerMech Ltd is seeking an experienced Rope Access Supervisor to lead a small team of Rope Access Technicians.

This is a local role based at the LNG Plant in Darwin, Australia.

Candidates must have full-time, permanent working rights in Australia.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a Rope Access Supervisor
  • Experience in the NDT, Mining, Oil & Gas Industry
  • Current IRATA Level 3 Rope Access
  • Advanced Rigging
  • Working at Heights (Valid within 2 years)
  • Confined Space Entry & Gas Test Atmospheres (Valid within 2 years)
  • First Aid
  • White Card

As part of the pre-employment process, the successful candidate must be able to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Medical (including drug and alcohol test).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Development and approval of lift and rescue plans
  • Manage EnerMech and Client documents relating to scope, RA related reporting and IRATA ICOP compliance
  • Conduct safety inspections and meetings
  • Assist in planning, scheduling and executing rope access load testing work scopes for the site team
  • Supervise all rope access & load testing activities performed by the team onsite
  • Liaise with clients on project progress and safety issues
