Pacific National is seeking a skilled Terminal Operator to join our team. As a Terminal Operator, you will play a critical role in the coordination, planning, and execution of train movements within our terminal.
Key Responsibilities- Operate forklifts and gantry cranes to move freight and equipment within the terminal.
- Shunt and examine trains to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Inspect trains and equipment to identify any issues or defects.
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve operational goals and objectives.
- Current LF licence (Forklift) and gantry crane licence (an advantage).
- Strong commitment to safety and a willingness to work in a dynamic 24/7 shift work environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Current motor vehicle licence and good mechanical aptitude.
