Financial Expert Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to provide financial services to a diverse range of clients.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial statements, supervising junior staff, and reviewing tax returns for compliance.

This role offers exposure to numerous clients across various industries and provides opportunities for career growth and development within the firm.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards;
  • Supervise junior staff on certain tasks, as appropriate;
  • Review completed tax and FBT returns for compliance, and identifies non-compliance issues arising from them;
  • Perform tax planning for clients;
  • Prepare tax returns for all entities;
  • Prepare Business Activity Statements;
  • Quarterly and annual tax compliance matters;
  • Provide advice for clients in relation to business operations and regulatory matters;
  • General business administration.
Requirements
  • CA or CPA qualification or partly completed;
  • 2-3 years business services/tax experience (mid-tier experience desirable);
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to establish professional relations with internal and external clients;
  • Demonstrated analytical/problem solving ability;
  • Ability to multi task and effectively manage individual and team work flow;
  • Self-motivated; takes responsibility for personal and professional development;
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to work;
  • Microsoft Office: Word/Excel/Outlook;
  • Advanced Professional Solutions APS (desired);
  • Xero (desired).
