Job Description:

System Design and Architecture:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to design and architect the IBM MDM system, ensuring it aligns with organizational goals and IT standards.

Development and Implementation:

The successful candidate will develop and deploy new features and functionality to the IBM MDM platform, including data models, integration workflows, and user interfaces.

Integration and Interoperability:

They will integrate the IBM MDM system with other enterprise applications, such as ERP, CRM, and data warehousing systems, to enable seamless data exchange and governance.

Data Governance and Stewardship:

The Data Architect will implement robust data governance policies and processes, including data quality management, data security, and access control measures.

Performance Optimization:

They will analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to ensure the IBM MDM platform operates at peak efficiency.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

The successful candidate will maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system specifications, configuration details, and operational procedures.

Share knowledge and best practices with the broader team.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

They will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other subject matter experts to ensure the IBM MDM system meets organizational requirements and delivers maximum value.

Requirements:

Strong understanding of data modelling, data integration, and data quality management concepts.

Expertise in programming languages such as Java, SQL, and scripting languages.

Proficient in IBM MDM technologies (nice to have).

Experience in designing and implementing data governance and data stewardship processes.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Skills (Must have):

Hands-on experience with IBM MDM.

Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and Dev Ops practices.

Familiarity with cloud-based deployment and containerisation technologies.

Experience in implementing data security and access control measures.

Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture and integration patterns.

Exposure to business intelligence and analytics tools.
