About the Role

Paxus - Technology + Digital Talent is seeking a highly skilled Data Science / AI Architect to join their Artificial Intelligence team. This position will be a key contributor to the development of a solution for the entire organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of data science and AI solutions, leveraging expertise in machine learning and cloud architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Develop and maintain architecture blueprints, including design option evaluations, current and future state diagrams, transition steps, data models, information flows, and effort estimates.
  • Evaluate and recommend best technologies for the implementation of ML/AI platforms, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Provide architecture governance, direction, and consultations to business and engineering teams, ensuring adherence to organisational standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6+ years of proven experience in software engineering, system engineering, and data architecture.
  • Validated experience with GCP clouds and well-exposed with GCP services.
  • Practical experience (educational or industry experience) and a passion for AI/ML technologies and practice MLOps.
  • Understanding of Data Architecture concepts, including Data Lakes, Data Hubs, LDW, Data Warehousing, and Data Modelling.
