Lead Data Engineer / Architect

A greenfield environment awaits a seasoned Lead/Principal Data Engineer or Data Architect to spearhead the design and development of a scalable data architecture supporting a high-impact program of work, serving millions daily.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement comprehensive data architecture in Azure Cloud.
  2. Develop data warehousing, data modeling, data lake, and data pipeline solutions.
  3. Design and implement reliable data storage solutions, including relational databases, NoSQL DB, and cloud-based storage.
  4. Establish and document data architecture standards.
  5. Stay current with the latest data architecture trends and technologies.

Requirements:

  1. 7+ years of experience in data architecture and design.
  2. Deep knowledge and recent hands-on experience in Azure Cloud technologies.
  3. Proven experience developing and implementing data solutions for large-scale enterprise systems.
  4. Experience in data warehouse and data lake design and development in Azure Cloud.
  5. Strong understanding of data modeling principles and methodologies.
