Job Description

The selected candidate will ensure the secure operation of diverse telecommunications/network hardware and software components, supporting DLA business processes. They will make technical judgments on system compliance and conduct risk assessments, advising stakeholders on potential threats and vulnerabilities.

Key responsibilities include managing the Enterprise continuous monitoring vulnerability management program, performing vulnerability management scanning, and developing procedures for reporting and investigating security breaches.

  • Coordinates IT security programs across platforms.
  • Applies IT concepts to devise solutions for a range of IT issues.
  • Applies IT architecture principles to advise on system design and functioning.
  • Ensures attention to detail and customer service in all interactions.
  • Communicates complex information effectively through oral presentations.
  • Solves problems by generating and evaluating alternatives and making recommendations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Specialized experience in IT security or a related field.
  • Ability to apply IT concepts, principles, and practices.
  • Attention to detail and strong customer service skills.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.

Education: A bachelor's degree is required. Relevant coursework or certifications in IT or a related field are also desirable.
