About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Project Director to lead the development of commercial and technical solutions during the pre-contract phase of high-profile Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) and other innovative business development opportunities in Australia and New Zealand.

The role is located in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney and will include:

  • Leading the determination of winning bid strategies and bid structures
  • Developing business development opportunities including client engagement through market engagement processes, industry briefings and unsolicited proposals
  • Coordinating a team of professionals along with external advisors
  • Managing client relationships and steering committees
  • Staying up-to-date with trends and market dynamics across the infrastructure sector, contributing to a broader understanding of these trends across the team and having input into strategic plans
  • Contributing to a collaborative culture of innovation, professional development and mentoring of talent

About You

  • Tertiary degree in Engineering, Construction management, Economics, Business or Finance
  • 10 - 15 years' experience in a Construction or Operations contracting business with senior level exposure to PPP/Project Finance projects
  • Strategic mindset with proven track record of successful execution
  • Previous bid leadership experience and management of privately financed projects such as PPPs
  • Highly organised with strong relationship building skills, excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Experience leading a multi-disciplinary team
  • Demonstrated commitment to business excellence and continuous improvement
