About this Opportunity:

  • Lead the development of commercial and technical solutions during the pre-contract phase of high-profile Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) and other innovative business development opportunities in Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine winning bid strategies and bid structures
  • Develop business opportunities, including client engagement through market engagement processes, industry briefings, and unsolicited proposals
  • Coordinate a team of development, technical, construction, legal, and finance personnel along with external advisors
  • Manage client relationships and steering committees
  • Stay up-to-date on trends and market dynamics across the infrastructure sector, contributing to a broader understanding of these trends across the team and providing input into strategic plans
  • Contribute to a team culture of collaboration, innovation, development, and mentoring of talent

About You:

  • Tertiary degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Economics, Business, or Finance
  • 10-15 years' experience in a Construction or Operations contracting business with senior-level exposure to PPP/Project Finance projects
  • Strategic mindset with a proven track record of successful execution
  • Previous bid leadership experience and management of privately financed projects such as PPPs
  • Highly organized with strong relationship-building skills, excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
  • Experience leading a multi-disciplinary team
  • Demonstrated commitment to business excellence and continuous improvement
